Corrigan Labs conducts a broad range of fuel, oil, DEF, and ethanol blend tests using ASTM and ISO methods. We analyze fuels for volatility, contamination, additive presence, acidity, and more. Our in-house capabilities are further enhanced by partnerships with local labs for expanded testing options.

DEF & Coolant Testing
Corrigan Labs offers comprehensive analysis of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and engine coolants, both of which play a critical role in modern emissions and thermal management systems.
For DEF, we follow ISO 22241 standards, measuring urea concentration via refractive index, along with alkalinity, density at 20°C, and critical impurity levels such as biuret and aldehyde content. Our testing ensures compliance and helps customers avoid DEF-related system failures.
When it comes to coolants and antifreeze, we evaluate physical and chemical characteristics including boiling and freezing points, reserve alkalinity, pH, conductivity, and dilution accuracy. These tests are vital to maintaining equipment reliability across seasonal extremes and extended service cycles.
